Thomas Myers - Anatomy Trains
Today’s guest is Thomas Myers, the author of the Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians book and video series. In this interview, Myers discusses how anatomy is typically taught, reducing the body to individual muscles and bones. He believes that we need other models that better explain what we observe in living, moving bodies and presents his revolutionary model of Anatomy trains to help therapists more fully understand the dynamics of movement and physical dysfunction. He also discusses the upcoming Fascia Research Conference to be held in Boston in October 2007. The conference is bringing together the top research scientists studying fascia to present their findings to massage therapists and other physical medicine specialists.
